Known as “The Jewel of the Upper Rogue,” Shady Cove is a small but bustling, rural tourist village located on the banks of the Upper Rogue River. Most known for its salmon and steelhead fishing, the river also offers plenty of year-round recreational opportunities, including whitewater rafting and wildlife watching. Hiking, biking, boating, and camping are available 10 miles east of town at Lost Creek Lake.
Shady Cove’s business district includes local eateries like Bel Di’s Restaurant and Fishing Hole Fly Shop as well as boutique shops, gift stores, and rafting companies. Rogue River Lodge, Crater Lake Cellars, Miguel’s Mexican Restaurant, and In the Attic are several of the village’s most notable businesses.
Houses for sale in Shady Cove include small to large-sized, single-family houses and small to medium-sized manufactured houses on gorgeous lots. Tall pines and green hills cover the area. Undeveloped land with views of the mountains and/or the river is also available for purchase.
