A small community of approximately 1,072 people, Williams lies about 12 miles south of Murphy. One of the most gorgeous communities in the Applegate Valley, Williams’ landscape is dotted with green fields, clear water, tall trees, sprawling, ranches, and single-family houses. Because of its beauty and peaceful living, Williams is home to many artists and musicians. The town is also home to a town center with several businesses, the Williams Elementary School, and the Williams Country Store. Cocina 7 Taqueria and Café on Blodgett Road serves up tacos, tortas, and other Mexican-inspired creations alongside regular live music.
